S2000 Special parts that can modify the roll center and change to the ideal geometry are now available.
The lower arm angle of the S2000 with lowered vehicle height is in the shape of inverted C, and the roll center point is too low.
The distance between the center of gravity of the vehicle and the roll center increases, the amount of roll increases, and cornering force is sacrificed.
Also, the suspension stroke is reduced and the limit is lowered.
By installing the J'S RACING roll center adjuster, you can correct the lowered roll center to the ideal position (correct the distance between the body center of gravity and the roll center to a short position) and realize the ideal suspension geometry.
[Installation effect]
★Reduction of roll amount
★Improvement of tire ground contact feeling
★ Improvement of steering responsiveness
★Increase of cornering force
J'S RACING repeats TEST a number of times, and we have a lineup of 20mm and 30mm, which are optimal for correcting the S2000 roll center, according to the set vehicle height.
Please check the usage environment before installing.
(Usage example 1) * Vehicle height down vehicle of 20mm to 50mm
Rear roll center adjuster → 20mm recommended
(Usage example 2) * Vehicle height down vehicle of 40 mm or more
Rear roll center adjuster → 30 mm recommended
*The above values are for reference only. Choose the appropriate height for your circuit and suspension.
*We do not recommend installing it on vehicles with normal height.
The tilt angle of the roll axis (the line connecting the front and rear roll centers) is also a very important point when setting the S2000.
When installing the rear roll center adjuster, be sure to install the front camber joints S1 and S2 and the roll center adjuster plate before setting the geometry.
*Cannot be installed on 16-inch wheels.
Press work is required for installation.
After replacement, vehicle height adjustment and alignment adjustment are required.
Follow the specified torque and install correctly.
*Please check the tightening of bolts and nuts regularly after mounting.
In particular, please do this before riding on the circuit.
